So I've heard of people having all kinds of problems with their CS Laredo. I own one and have not had ANY problems with it, and it has been a great knife. So I was wondering if any of you who own a Laredo, or know someone who owns a Laredo, have had any problems with it?

I don't have a Laredo, but it is a knife I've always considered getting if I saw a used one for sale somewhere. What kind of problems are you hearing about?

I have one and it is near perfect in fit and finish. It hasn't cut much though so can't comment on durability.

Edit: the handle is very slick if your hands are damp

I heard one guy say that his laredo's handle was twisted or something like that, but anyone I've talked to hasn't heard of anything like that. The majority of the problems that I've heard about have to do with the handle. Many say that it is too slick, which is probably personal preference; however, I find that it fits my hand perfectly and does not slip at all.

There are a couple other things, but thats all I can remember off the top of my head. I was just wondering if anybody in specific has encountered any flaws with the knife that has turned him/her off.

I've done a little cutting and it seems to hold a pretty good edge, I haven't sharpened mine and it will still shave. Although it is not hair popping sharp like it was, it will still shave.
