CS Lawman question?

Im considering getting a CS Laman, I already have the Recon 1 and love it except that it is a little too long for my hand.

When I pull it out of my pocket I kinda have to repostion my grip by chocking up on it. It is just barely too long. I assume that the slightly shorter Lawman would correct my problem.

Any input on the Lawmen working better for me or any ideas on how I could improve the opening ease on the Recon would be appreciated. I have not gotten to handle the Lawman. Thanks

This Lawman is a stout blade for sure.

One of our members Chris Pierce can probably tell you all you need to know about the Lawman :p

I can only tell you it's a great knife to me. It fits my hands just great, but I have rather small hands. The handle feels even more solid than the Recon 1. In general it feels handier as an EDC knife, the Recon 1 is quite a handful to EDC (although it never seems to stop me ;)). Love the blade shape. Just an awesome knife for the money.

If you like the Recon 1 then just get the new Mini Recon 1. I think it would work perfect for you! The Lawman is also very nice! GOOD LUCK! Kevin

If you have smaller hands, then the American Lawman is the way to go. In addition, it has a choil that will let you snug-up on the blade for detail work. All in all, a stout and well made knife that makes for a great EDC.

Thanks for the responses. Took me awhile to find the handle length on the Lawman. I think it will just be short enough for my thumb to hit the stud when I retrieve it from my pocket.

The Recon is great but I just dont like having to juggle it a little to get on the opening stud. I think the Lawman will remedy this.
