CS on Chicago PD?

Last night during the show Chicago PD, one of the characters, played by Sophia Bush, was handed, opened and used what looked to me like a Cold Steel Recon 1 clip point to open a box sent to her by a serial killer.

Early on in the series, the main character, played by Jason Beghe, was shown to carry a Spyderco (Endura 4 CE), but I hadn't seen any knives on the show for a bit until last night. Did anybody else see this?

I didn't catch the type of knife last night, but I re-watched the scene and paused once the episode popped up on Hulu this morning. I'm 99% certain that it was a black bladed part serrated SOG Trident, not a Cold Steel.

Points make me think this:
1. The knife looks too large to be a mini-Recon, but doesn't look big enough in hand to be a full size one.
2. The thumbstud is too close to the handle in the open position to be a Cold Steel. It looks to be acting as a blade stop the way the Trident's thumbstud does.
3. The curve on the spine comes further down the spine than the Recon's do. On the SOG, the curve comes down past the halfway point.
