CS Outdoorsman vs. BK7?

How does the cold steel outdoorsman compare to the becker bk7 for slicing ability and overall camp chores?

I'm not sure that they can be compared fairly. They
both approach "outdoor" work from very different
design ideas. A knife is a knife sure, but the end
intended use makes the difference.

The outdoorsman is a oriental design and the Bk 7 s
a "down home" american design. One is fine in the
exectuion of the design while the the other is as
rough and tumble as they come.

Suffice to say that the Bk 7 would be the obvious
choice in most cases for it's "do anything anywhere" design.
The outdoorsman on the other hand will be better suited to lightduty gentlmans camp
chores.
