i'm sort of interested in this, but your asking price is a bit much considering this knife could be had for $36 from most online dealers when it was still available. if you want to budge on the price a bit (and if you take paypal), let me know!

thanks!

immaculate, I see you're relatively new to Bladeforums (slightly belated "Welcome!" to BFC) and probably don't realize that comments such as your posting above are typically sent in email (offline) rather than getting posted in someone's For Sale thread.

I assume you have not read the sticky threads at the top of this For Sale forum. Allow me to quote for you one posted by Spark, who is the owner of Bladeforums, regarding pricing of knives here.
"Don't make negative comments in people's for sale thread.

Unless the seller has directly ripped you off, I don't want to see negative comments or asinine behavior in for sale threads, especially from non-paying members. Questions & such are still welcome, but don't act like an ass in someone's for sale thread.

I don't care if you can find it cheaper elsewhere, the market will decide whether or not it sells at that price. The people who are selling here help keep this site open... when you mess up their sales, you hurt this site."

RokJok,

sorry, i had no intent on making a "negative" comment on this thread. i've actually been a bladeforums member for ~7 years now, but lost my old password/email associated with my old account so this is my new one.

my post was an attempt to haggle with Lobo on the price of the item, NOT an attempt to bash his pricing setup. i'm sorry if it didn't come across that way. Also, i don't find that my post is in any way jeopardizing his sale (as i DID mention that the price i quoted was no longer offered as item is discontinued) since i am actually interested in purchasing the knife!

just as a clarification, i HAVE read the stickies and try to follow them as much as possible (i operate/administer a few webboards myself and understand the importance of stickies). again, i've seen comments that are much more direct and offensive than my own, so i really didn't see the harm in what i posted. it might be an oversight on my part, and if so, my mistake.

thanks anyhow and my apologies to all involved if i was out of line.

Rok Jok- Thanks for addressing that.

Immaculate- Apology accepted. I believe the key phrases in your post are "could be had" and "when it was still available" :) I do not accept paypal. If you would like to further discuss a potential deal then please PM or e-mail. Thanks.

A friend of mine is a knifenut, but not a member of BF. I sent him a link to this thread. He's got some CS products, and is pretty happy with them. Maybe you and he can do a little business together. Good luck.

Tim

Greetings,

I must be the knifenut spoken of.

Lobo103, I recognize you from another forum(TPI), so we're aren't total strangers after all. In regards to this particular blade, I'm broke to the point that I'll stick with my CS PK1 for the time being. I'm a big fan of daggers, more than my bank account will allow. I'm certain that there will be others who will snap yours up and take it off your hands.

Regards,

J

Likewise James. I know all about less than ideal finances:rolleyes: If yours should improve and I still have the knife available I'm sure you won't have any problem finding me. :D
