i was thinking about buying the cold steel peacekeeper (stainless steel not carbon.)and was wondering if anyone has handled it before. and how strong,sharp,etc... it was. thanks.

I had a stinless one (aus-8) it was pretty good, very easy to resharpen so-so balance for throwing. It came with a poor quality condura sheath that basically disintigrated in about a month. If you intend on throwing it I would get the Carbon V one--(Especially now that they make the stainless one out of...420j2 Yeeaach)

I have the Carbon V, with the Kydex type IWB sheath. It came from the box very sharp, and touching up (all it's needed) is a snap. While it may be possible, it is hard to imagine anyone breaking this knife through use.The sheath is quite secure and comfortable on me (5'9", 190 lb.), and allows very easy access. At an extremely reasonable street price, I highly recommend it if you are looking for a double edged, very stout, dagger.
