See CS for specs. This is the short blade version of the PM.
This knife disappears in regular jeans front pocket. I literally panicked because I thought I lost the knife. It sits better in my pocket than my folders.
The handle scales are squishy, I never had a soft handle knife before but it is very grippy and feels fine. The handle has flat sides which i like to know the orientation of the blade. The top and bottom of the handle is contoured nicely with a downsweep at the rear and guards up front.
The stock is normal thickness which in today's market means too thin. It's not too thin, y'all so used to overbuilt knives until ya stupid in the head about it. Its a knife not a pry bar, get used to it.
The front of the blade tapers to a piercing point with a swedge clip.
The pocket clip is very tight, I may dial it back a bit but I think I am liking the tight grip on the pocket.
The sheath could be trimmed down a bit to expose more handle according to taste. I will probs do that as well.
The sheath is hard plastic, you can insert the knife either way in. There are guides inside the sheath to hold the blade from rattling. You have to be aware of these so you don't stab them inserting the knife into the sheath
This knife has been out a long time, a lot of reviews about the sheath and clip are negative. I disagree entirely the sheath and clip are efficient in every measure. I would take this sheath for this knife over any leather or kydex sheath.
The blade, handle, sheath, clip are a system that are optimized. Any one of these features alone could appear inadequate. As a system they compliment each other with the whole greater than sum of the parts.
This is a sweet knife that has copped to much negativity. It's a no fuss versatile well built knife that I would carry in my pocket over any folder.
Am I happy with my purchase - hell yeah.
Would I buy another one - hell yeah.
Would I recommend- hell yeah.
