CS production in Taiwan

Can anyone tell me why Cold Steel moved production from China to Taiwan for their stuff? Was it fir better quality control, better management, etc? I know that with it, they raised their prices again to reflect the move. I do not want this to turn into a Cold Steel bashing thread, just curious.

I guess that is the case. Taiwan made knives seem to be more consistant wit better quality and reliability. You pretty much pay what you get.
