I think the custom shop is going to close shortly after it opens again do to all the stuff we will send in.

Does the CS typically open with O2W? if so im going to need a BT6 in the near future when my credit card cools down otherwise i can wait until a satin one is released.

Custom shop was closed DUE to O2W, and I don't think that's going to change any time soon.

O2W has been a huge success, so I think Jerry will keep it going as soon as they can fit new offerings into their production schedule.

Eric, I don't think there is a 'typical' pattern in this case. Because I don't think O2W has ever been tried before. Busse offered something new and we all jumped on it, and many are just now getting their knives and enjoying the results.

As other have said the CS closed around the same time as OP2 started, they were already running 12month lead times at that point and the closure I believe was to stop that number blowing right out. There is NO guarantee that something available through OP2 will be available for order through the CS when/if it opens up again. That is dictated by the availability of blanks and Busse's intentions for those same blanks, some will be held back and some used to produce blades for the few shows they attend. CS was never ran as "order whatever you want from the range". I too have a few "wishes" for the CS but I am not holding my breath just now.
