My EP Apex 4. This knife is the first attempt. The total time to go from the standard sharpness to this was about 40 minutes. This one could use a little better angle at the first 2cm near the tip, but it's a working knife not meant to win any beauty contests.

I'm not sure what you are asking either, but just ignore the Spydie hole. It does not affect anything. Pretend like its not there.
 
I was asking how to compensate steadying the knife on the Endura due to the angle of the spine. Do you do the belly first then focus on the blade tip?
I just sharpened my Gayle Bradley, keeping the factory bevel as much as possible. It was tough getting the tip reprofiled, but it's nice and sharp once again. It would look cool to reprofile the blade, but I'm not sure how durable it would be because of the hollow grind.

Put the edge flat on the table, the edge always goes flat on the table when shapening. :)
