CS Recon 1 vs. SOG Trident

Tanto model, non serrated on both. Older model CS. AUS8a on both. arc lock vs. AXIS lock. Which is best? Any comments appreciated!
 
First off, the SOG Trident doesn't use their arc lock. It uses their arc actuator lock which is completely different and not as strong. SOG's arc lock comes on their higher end knives such as the Vulcan or Tomcat and is comparable to Benchmade's Axis lock. I can understand the mix up though because both SOG's arc lock and their arc actuator lock have the same arc shaped cut out in the handle. The actuator lock appears on all their assisted openers.
 
I have had both and the recon is more rugged but not as comfortable to carry. I beat the crap out of my recon1 non serrated tanto and could not break it. THe trident is a good blade but wont stand up to the abuse a recon 1 will. My trident looked good but felt a bit cheap compared to the recon.
