CS Scimitar upgrade?

I don't know what it is, but the Cold Steel Scimitar design really touches something in me. Only problem is that the quality of the product is a little less than I care for. Short of going the hand made route, can anyone suggest a similarly designed folder but with a better presentation?

Hmmm. Can the scimitar be taken apart? Would having someone make up a custom blade for it be a possibility??
