Tanto regrind by TheCarbideRat. All contact surfaces - blade/pivot/liners are polished. Blade is polished. Screws are spun polished. Custom fit grip job. Pocket clip stripped and polished. Sap lanyard.

If you'd like the same, let me know.

An anorexic Spartan. :D

Very cool, for the most part. I really like the treatment at the end of the handle. The design & production of that area is a little 'tight' for my grip, but the nested liners have kept me from serious mod'ing there. My Spartan is a WIP right now, with the square hump worked off the top of the blade, a Boye detent cut into the lockbar, and the edges of the handle dressed down with 600 grit. The liners will get drilled out in April (after my son bridges to Boy Scouts) to lighten them up. I'm still working through some ideas for the 'pocket-shredder-wave-shelf' thingy.

From your pics, it looks like the middle of the blade edge becomes really obtuse, then thins out again. How's it cut? You put it through any serious workouts? Seems like it would handle minor chopping well. (My Spartan is the only folder I've ever chopped with, minor stuff like wedge splitting kindling and food prep. Handled all well and didn't loosen up.)

If you'd like the same, let me know.

Possible. Every time I work in a change to mine, new ideas come up. Possibilities . . . possibilities . . .

OOhh Nice! Way better than the stock one.

A tear drop thumb plate would be nice too just to go with the lines

That is pretty sick! I like the handle and blade shape better.

I may want to get that done to mine. What did it run you if you don't mind me asking?

The blade mod cost me $30 + shipping... Everything else, I did in my garage.
