Dear CS,
Hope you can give us some insights on this topic. In the Medium Espada vs ZT0350 lock test video, Mr. Demko mentioned that the new Medium Espada will be using the flat grind. I've also been seeing more flat grinds on your newer 2015 models(not FFG but flat saber grind instead of hollow grind) from a couple of youtube videos. The new model that i've seen using flat grind so far: Ultimate hunter, Black Talon 2 & Swift.
Can you share with us whether this is the direction CS will be moving towards for the newer model?
It seems like higher end companies like ZT and BM are using flat grind for all their models. With the new XHP steel, is CS doing that as well to be more inline with those companies? I personally much prefer flat grind from aesthetic and strength point of view, so the change would be really awesome IMO.
I just saw the following videos for Black Talon 2 and Swift and i'm pretty sure they are flat ground.
