I'm looking for this knife:

But since I'm fairly disgusted with CS, I'm hoping some of you will throw some alternatives to this knife, but not made by CS.

Looking for a good hunter folder blade that has a very solid lock-up.

Thanks!

I have a CSUH that I got a couple of years ago. For the price, its a lot of knive. Its a fairly big knife though, and I find that I really don't use a knife this big for workin over an animal... Seems like its strong enough that you could use it as hard as you want and not really hurt it.. The Benchmade griptilian with a modified drop point blade is a great knife. Its also lighter than the UH...

I'd recommend a Ka-Bar Dozier -they have 2 versions one in AUS-8 and the other in D2. The D2 version really holds an edge.

The Kabar Doziers are definitely a good choice. Another knife you might want to look at is the Blade Tech Wegner Pro Hunter Lite with FRN handles and a
440C blade. Tough knife with a good fit and finish. (I have the Mouse-Lite IN 440C and its been a very good little knife) You can find them on the net for about 50 bucks.

I also will endorse the Blade-Tech Pro Hunter. Other models that I can recommend are the following discontinued Spydercos : the Wegner, the Impala, and the smaller yet very handy and robust Pro-Grip....all of which can often be found in the sale forums and eBay.

-Regards
