Hey fellas. My buddy was at a BPS in Cincy this weekend and he has always envied my Csar-T. They had one but he said that the blade was considerably thinner than mine. He said it was $89 and had the same contoured G-10 scales. Was he looking at a different version or has the blade width been lessened, or is he delerious and just remembers my 095 having a thicker blade than it really does?

I honestly havent looked at or handled another since a different buddy of mine got one a few months after me(about the time the sheath change-molle)

Thanks
Fritz

is he sure that he was looking at the same knife? They make another CSAR-T, avid model with 420hc blade steel, and yes the blade is thinner, but it the handle is differnet. I bet that is the one he was looking at.

Well thats what I figgered right away and so I questioned him about the handle and he swears it had the same G-10 handles.

All of these parts are easy to remove and switch. Could be the 420HC Avid knife with the ATS-34 knife handle. That's how I got an Alpha folder with a Bravo blade!

The store would not do it......But, Maybe I want the rubber grips and thicker ATS-34 blade. I buy both knives switch parts and return the higher cost box with the G-10 scaled Avid....even if the store folks looked in the box they would not be the wiser.....just a thought.
