Does anyone here have any opinions on the CSAR T Pro knife (or the cheaper version)? I like my 110, but am not a huge fan of the vantage line when thinking of hard use (Vantages seem more like an EDC line to me). How think is the liner on the CSAR T? I have heard that it is hard to unlock, is this true? Seems like a cool knife, I would just like to hear more before I consider buying one. Thanks for the help.

The Czar T is an absolute brute of a knife. If you cant cut something you can certainly bludgeon it to death. The lock is thick and stiff but not hard to unlock. You will give yourself a callus if you open and close it over and over. It isnt a slicer due to the thickness of the blade, which is huge. My only dislike of the knife is the pocket clip. It is as brutish as the rest of the knife and you could easily rip your pocket trying to clip it on. Not a big issue for me cause I dont use the pocket clips on any knife. I pocket carry mine. I removed the clip because it digs into my leg if it is turned toward it. Other than that, totally love it. Contoured G10 scales are very nice.

I really like mine. However, don't carry it much due to it's size. Need to get it back into rotation though when I'm working around the farm on the weekends and need a more hard use knife than during the work week. I think it's a great buy for the money. However, I would handle one first and compare it to the cheaper (which I don't care for) version before you jumped. Also, version out with a belt cutter on it (mine doesn't have that) if that does anything for you, not my thing plus just makes it bigger.

I also have a CSar T. It is a big heavy knife. I also have the bit set that goes with it. Really handy if you find yourself having to tighten and loosen screws. The contoured grips are nice. It is definitely a knife worth owning.

I made a point of pulling mine out of storage and it's in my pocket now. Beast of a knife. Makes getting into my pocket hard which is part of the reason I think I went to a TNT or Vantage for street carry. I took the extra set of screws out of the non-clip side and that helped from roughing up my hand as much.

I like it a lot, but it has it's place.
