Has anybody had any experience with carrying the forum knife or is it more a safe queen? How does the word hold up to moisture? The blade? I'm thinking of carrying it but don't know if it's an occasional user or an edc style knife.

I've been carrying mine in a front pocket since I got it - still looks pretty much the way it did the day it arrived.

I carry mine on occasion. Haven't seen any ill effects.

Mine is in my carry rotation, and seems to be holding up well! I don't hold back when carrying it, that is why I got a spare:thumbup:

very nice! i had showed up on the scene too late, just like i missed the 2014 blade forums knife, which has got to be one of my favorite of the bladeforums knives. Luckily, Waynorth had a spare he was willing to let go!

Mine is everyday in my bag and used when eating outside. No problem noticed yet and don't expect any.

I like it a lot, that's because I got very lucky with an exceptional example..:D:D:thumbup:

It carries neatly as it's slim and not heavy. Being Shadow, you might have to be a little more careful with it but then it's not the kind of toolbox or fling in the bottom of a boat type knife..

If you use it for most pocket knife duties there will be no problem.

The blade combo is wizard!

I kept mine put up until I lost my mind and sold it along with most of the rest of my collection. :stupid:

I'm up in the air. I'd like to carry it. During the time I signed up for it I head just come into an interest in traditional, but now I've seemed to have gone back to modern folders. I love the size of it over my case medium, which as a knife I love, but I wish it were bigger.

I carry mine on a regular basis and it is holding up well.

The bolsters on knives is what I usually notice as being worn first. Since these are bolater-less and stainless, the finish is holding u pl quite nicely.

Yep I carry mine frequently. It's a workhorse that always looks new.

With summers in Georgia, it seems that no amount of mineral oil and cleaning can keep my carbon steel knives from picking up a little rust. A knife like the CSC BF Knife is perfect to rotate in for these hot humid days. Mine still looks brand new but I certainly haven't babied it.

Lol,
I actually have two and I don't carry either one. This was the last knife that Canal Street Cutlery made in the Ellenville factory. The factory closed its doors once the Blade Forums knife was completed. These knives are a part of Cutlery History and mine will remain unused. Just my two cents worth

ooo thought we were talking about the Eric's Jack, i didnt actually buy the CSC BF knife

Bought two, so I could put one away and carry one. Carried one of them every day for about 4 months when I first got it. The wood holds up very well to moisture.
