I know the head is listed at 2lb, but how does it compare dimensionally to a typical boys axe?
From what I see in pictures it almost looks to have the profile / bit thickness of a worn back cruiser.
Does anyone know the eye dimensions?

I was thinking of getting the standard sport utility saddle axe and rehanging it on a longer handle to make a mini cruiser.
I figure if 28" is about standard for a 2.5lb cruiser, 20-22" would be about perfect for a 2lb head.

Has anyone else done this , I know people are doing it for the flying fox but haven't heard of anyone doing it for the saddle axe yet.

According to Benjamin The eye measures roughly 2-1/4" x 3/4"

I searched and somehow didn't turn anything up, I much have just missed it.

I'll continue thinking about ordering one, I'm definitely going to but have to get Christmas knocked out first.
