I've never seen much talk about this steel from Carpenter but it appears on Spyderco's website. What I found particularly interesting was the composition matches BG-42. Does Spyderco have any plans on offering this steel?

There was supposed to be a Manix 2 sprint in B75P. The steel was mislabeled from Carpenter and was actually BD30P. That is how we got the BD30P Manix sprint.

There was some chatter about either a Manix2 or another Military/Para2 sprint with that at some point (maybe).

It's a powdered BG-42 that Carpenter made for us to test when we were working with them to develop knive blade steels. We have something in-the-works with it.
