I recently acquired two new-in-box CS Rajah III knives and can't decide which to keep. One is in the CTS-BD1 steel the other is the new AUS 10A. Not looking to incite a steel war, but having a hard time deciding which to hold onto.

What are the benefits/drawbacks of each steel?

Which would you hold onto and why?

Thanks

Thanks for the responses. Not finding much comparison info on which may be easier to sharpen/retain sharpness longer/tougher/etc. I guess either is a good mid-grade steel choice. They are both wicked sharp with smooth action and solid lockup, but I don't really need to keep both. I bought one on a whim at a good price...like most of my late night online purchases...LOL. I may just keep one boxed up in the safe for down the road. Thanks guys.

I have a a BD1 Rajah III and my Spyderco Manix is also BD1. I really like the steel. Easy to sharpen and holds a good edge. Tough as well.

They are both extremely similar steels, it depends more how cold steel heat treated each, which I cannot attest to. You wont be disappointed with either of them.
