Cts-bd1 or gin-1

I'm in the market for a Spyderco ukpk for a stonewashing experiment of mine, and I'm wondering which blade steel is better, BD-1 or GIN-1. I'm really not a steel junky, so looking at pure numbers for the two steels is not really something I'm good at.

Those steels are almost the same. The BD1 is said to be slightly better. I sincerely doubt you would be able to tell a difference.
