CUDA CQB name`s questions

Hello!
I have the 8 CQB knifes in my collection (4 bigs, 4 juniors). I think these are most beautiful fixeds which I`ve even seen. I`d like to know what phrase "Close quarter battle" means? Sorry for my bad English, I know what words "close", "quarter" and "battle" means separately, but I can`t translate phrase. Can somebody explain me this in more easy phrases please?
Also please explain me what words "Second to None" means?

My interpretation of close quarter battle is hand to hand combat or fighting in a confined area. Second to none means first quality or none better. Hope that makes sense.

"Quarters" meant living spaces [kvartira]. "Close quarters" meant shared living spaces without a lot of room -- too close to each other.

There are lot of "close quarters" in Moscow living buildings, so I fully understand what you mean
