My question is, what can you tell me about the Damascus? What steel is it?

I love the knife, great ergonomics, great finish and most importantly it cuts well!

Glad you like your Damascus CUDA Quick-Action! We made the large model in damascus last year, and that has now been discountinued. We will be making a run the small CUDA Quick-Actions later this year in damascus. Stay tuned for details and release dates.
The damascus used is simple 1095 carbon and nickle. Yes it will rust, and we recommend Sentry Solutions Tuf-Cloth for protection.

Thanks for the swift response.
Knowing the steel is 1095 means I'll make sure it stays clear of tomatoes, onions and anything else likely to stain it excessively.
Yes, the Damascus looks great as does the whole knife. It's my first Quick-Action and probably won't be my last, I'll be looking out for the small one when it's announced.
Pity you don't give away samples of Tuf-Cloth with the Quick-Action like I had with my CQB1!
