The blade reads Cuda EDC D Ralph design and that's all… I know these were offered in different steels and a bit confused. AUS8 probably?

the most recent version, made in Taiwan, was (is) AUS 8

before that they were made in the USA of 154CM, and before that 420HC

IIRC

And A.G. Russell sold a version in D2. But that was predominantly displayed on the blade.

They even made a talonite version. All versions I know of were marked on the blade. There are boxes marked ATS 34 but I've never seen any made with that steel, though untill this thread I didn't know that there was a D2 version made. I had thought I had all the versions. JL

I have similar question. I just got my new cuda edc and I'm not sure what steel is the blade made of. The seller claimed it's AUS 8 but it has no marks, not even "Taiwan" on the blade. Absolutely nothing. The blade has bead blast finish and the knife came in plane white box with no marks as well.
Does anyone know which steel is it? It's doesn't make a great difference for me (in a couple of weeks I'll know how it holds the edge), but I'm the curious kind.
