I'm unpacking from another move, and opened a box that had this knife in it. I can't remember the maker, but it's been the better part of 10 years since this knife saw daylight last. Blade is marked Cuda, 154CM, USA. No manufacturer noted. Anybody?

Camillus most likely. Camillus did quite a bit of CUDA knives.

EDIT: I was right. Amazon has your knife listed under: Camillus Carbonitride Titanium Cuda Black Folding Knife with Quick Release, 9- Inch

Thanks, That's interesting. I didn't think Camilus was making knives in the USA any more, and 154CM is unusual.

They were 10 years ago. They were bought by Acme Brands and the manufacturing moved overseas since that time.

The 154CM Cudas weren't actually that uncommon, but it was a relatively high-end knife.

Hi eisman. Indeed a Camillus USA knife. At one time I had a couple of these. For some reason I still have a tanto blade, opening button, and a backside liner/G-10 scale. These have been laying around the house for, well, for 10 years I guess. Blade is marked "First Production Run", though it has some areas of wear, but no nicks or scratches, and in fact still has the original edge!

If you want this, I will gladly send it your way for free, otherwise it will lay around my house another 10 years! Just email me your address.

If I'm not mistaken that's a pretty collectable model, it might be worth a couple hundred bucks, just FYI.

Edited: Just did a little price checking, more like $100 it appears

Yes a Camillus ! One of my favorite folders, just like the one in your photo ! They also made some fixed blade knives with the CUDA label . I wonder if all of them were designed by the same person ??

I think the fixed blade Cuda was the one designed by Bob Terzuola. It is a very sleek looking knife. It is now made by Meyerco, if it is the one you are speaking of.
