I've had this Cuda going on two years. Great knife! Anyway, I've cleaned and oiled after every heavy use... maybe too much with the wrong stuff. Anyway, it is REALLY hard to open these days... as if a bearing is seized. Is there one and how can I alleviate this problem? Is this a warrany issue? Thanks for any input. Will.

The CUDA QUICK ACTION is designed to run on minimal lubrication. The blade rotates on nylonblade washers and a bronze bushing. Most of the time when we see Quick Actions that seem "stiff", its because of too much lube has clogged the pivot area with debris. Try simply washing out the pivot/opening area with HOT soapy water, then blowing the area dry with air[hair dryer, compressed air, etc.]. Then LIGHTLY lube the pivot, mainly for corrosion protection. We recommend Sentry Solutions Tuf-Glide. If you have any furhter question, give me a shout! And thanks for being a customer!
