Mine is satin finished, which I much prefer.

That makes sense since I bought mine shortly after they were announced. The only "stone-washed" blades with which I am familiar are the ones on the REKAT knives. I think that I prefer satin finish, myself. I hope that the CUDA MAXX 7" will have a satin finished blade.

Why does their site still say polished?

My first one was polished.. My stilleto is satin.. I want another polished bowie..

Sorry but it's a stone wash finish also. Myself, I would prefer a high polish but....

Hello All

My unit's blade has a polished blade finish. It's definately not a satin finish, however, it looks like a stone-wash blade that was polished. I'd prefer a stone wash but still love the Cuda

Unless things have changed, they are a tumbled or "stonewash" finish. I think they go with polished title as the blade usually comes out fairly smooth and with a bit of a shine to it.
