Cuda Maxx 5.5 Stud Broken

I was flipping open my Cuda Maxx today, when the stud that acts as a blade stop fell off. I tried to reinstall the stud, but it will not screw in. It seems as though the threads are too short. I'm really not sure why this happened.

Has anyone else had this problem? How is Camillus when it comes to customer service?

Try sending them an e-mail. My clip broke on my maxx and I e-mailed them and in a few days a very nice lady called me to verify my address and sent me out a new clip at no charge. Very nice people. I bet they will take care of it .

Your stud is a two peice deal.One half has a male thread and the other has a female thread.It sounds to me your male thread broke and part of it is still in the female section. Call Camillus they will fix you right up.

I own one. Never had a problem. My buddies knife did that once, sent it in with a letter. Sure enough, 3 weeks later, good ole Maxx was back and well.
