I had some lockup problems with my Maxx when it was new, and I didn't want to wait forever for the factory to fix it if I was to send it in. So I contacted Darrel Ralph, and he referred me to Dirk here on the forums.
I sent it to Dirk, for a super fast turnaround:
-handle has been Beadblasted
-Modified for tip up carry (L & R)
-Lockstop added.

It is now the ultimate "big" folder. It "waves" open with ease & locks up like a vault. I also prefer the natural grey of the Ti to the blue anodized finish.
Thanks again, Dirk- now this knife is great.:D

Explain lockstop,if you would.

Doug

the lockstop is the triangular thingie near the lock in this pic.

It prevents the lock from moving too far in that direction.

LOL! it is pretty good tasting pig snot.
I think it is called Maxx because that is the name of the model:D

I always wanted a pocket machete! Nice mods.
The lockstop keeps the lock from being pushed too far out during unlocking, keeping it from losing it's springiness.

WOW. . . . that's impressive !

I never realized what a big @#$ folder that is !

Rat, are your pockets that deep or do you have them customized to carry such a knife ? :p :D
