As of late, i've changed the teflon washers in my Cuda Maxx and added militec-1 to the mix. (i was using white lighting before)
The blade swings out like a mofo now, ridiculously smooth. It's like the blade is completely loose at the pivot, although the only detectable movement might be vertical. (none horizontal)
The only problem now, is the frame lock doesn't properly hold the blade out solid, unless i push it all the way over to the other handle scale.
It was past half way before, but never all the way over.
I'm going to send it off to the fine folks at Camillus, but i wondered if anyone had any suggestions? (short of putting the old washers back in)
And i wondered if anyone else's was that smooth? It opens without any wrist action, just pushing on the flipper with my finger causes it to open and lock.
