I am a bicycle dealer that dabbles in other sporting goods sales, including knives. I have been a collector for years. I just received the monthly supplement from my distributor and it lists a CUDA MAXX with a closed length of 8". It appears to have a spearpoint blade. I can't find it on Camillus' site. Is it a missprint or is it real. If it is real I will have to have one! (purely for research in the interest of customer servic, of course.)
 
I think that would be the limited edition Gibbs. My rule of thumb for estimating folder measurement is that the blade length + 1" = handle length.

That is the limited edition Gibbs you are seeing. 7" blade with a handle of about 8" or a hair less.

I would suggest you obtain one for your research.
