Cuda parts needed

A buddy of mine came to me asking if I could help him find parts for an old knife he has. Turns out it's a Camillus Cuda.

From what I can tell he needs the pivot screw parts. I assume the screw is a pair consisting of a male part and a threaded female part.

Can anyone give me an idea where I might get these parts?

Here are a few pics of the knife:

By the way, anyone care to venture a guess at what this knife is worth (assuming I can find parts and make it functional again)?

Thanks in advance...

You will need:
Threaded sleeve & 2 flat head screws.
It looks like the bronze bushing is still in the knife.

Unfortunately I seriously doubt anyone has any! :grumpy:

Thanks Phil...

Any idea where I'd get size info to try to buy the parts from one of the online parts companies?

Phil,
Can you post a photo of the parts? I have a large quantity of parts for Camillus knives but I need a photo to help identify the parts. Thank you.

You can try knifekits.com, they not only sell kits but individual parts. The back page of thier 2009/2010 catalog says to contact them for specialty parts. They may or may not be able to help you, but it is probably your best bet. Unless someone has some Camillus parts they picked up at the plant closing.

PM me if you feel like it. I have a similar Camillus but with a plain edge in super shape and says First Production on the blade. The blade doesn't appear to have cut anything that would mar it and the edge looks original and I paid $55 for the knife in working order.

Thanks for responding. Instead of PMing you, I thought I'd respond in here. Is there any way I could have you remove the screw(s) and sleeve and shoot a picture of them?

Pictures might help Tom identify the parts so I could get them from him.

Thanks again...

Here is the drawings for the pivot & bushing.
I assume your bushing is still there though.
The screws are just short 4-40 flatheads.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for the drawings Phil.

Unless someone knows where to purchase these tiny parts, I think it's time to give the knife (and drawing) back to my buddy. Maybe he can find a machine shop willing to make him what he needs.

Thanks again to everyone for the assistance...

I hope this isn't breaking forum rules because I'm just trying to help.

I have this knife in PE fully assembled. The only issue is a couple of the scale screws are starting to strip but are still usable. PM me if your friend is interested in buying it. I will sell it for what I paid for it plus shipping. It's got "First Production Run" etched on the blade. No box but the knife is in great shape. I can provide pictures if needed.

A million thanks go out to Phil Gibbs for locating the pivot parts I needed to restore my buddies knife!

Phil, the parts fit PERFECTLY and the knife now functions like it did the day it came out of Camillus! My bud and I both thank you!

I'll be checking in at #114-115 at Blade to see if I can buy you a round...or at least shake your hand!

Thanks again...
