So what can you tell me about these, they dont seem to be too popular around here with the bulf of the attention going to the MAXX and EDC. I have handled one and i liked it with the exception of the Quick action part and the lock was just ok.

They look like they were designed by Bob Terzuola is this true?

When can we expect an updated version?

Do a search and you will read a lot about them, including that they were heavily influenced by Terzuola. I have one and its neat, but not really my thing for a carry piece. Looking to trade if you are interested.

Yeah i forgot about that search thing, they do look like the Teruolua's i'd probably buy one if they they were more like Bob's knives.

Any replacements updates down the line?

I've used mine on construction jobs, and carried while on duty with the sheriff's dept. I've just about tortured this knife, and it's not failed yet. I like the quick action feature, because I never have to touch the blade if I'm opening or closing the knife.(I've got a scar on my thumb from a rather offensive Kershaw. It took a chunk about the size of a nickel off the tip.) The only problem I've ever had with the knife is in my other post. It's really a great knife.

My Cuda Quick Action is one of my favorites. The only thing I've done with mine that seemed to hurt it was taking the head off of a large snapping turtle. When I pried against the shell I bent the thumb button where it extended past the handle. I was afraid it would break off when I bent it back, but it didn't break and now operates as good as new.

I like the design. I never could get into the quick action thing. I would prefer to have seen it with thicker liners, ditch the quick action, and put a stonewashed finish on the blades.

These were pre Will Fennell ;)

I'm with Dennis. Put some .060 to .070 liners along with a disc opener, keep the blade at the same thickness, and add a solid backspacer and we have a WINNER!

Please Will..............PLEASE:D

It seems like an Updated version of these would fill the "hole" in the CUDA line being disscussed

Will, please please update the quick action folder. I've had two and traded them both because of the rattling button and the way it stuck out. I liked both knives and may buy another if I can get the right deal on the right knife. I would also LOOOVE to see a 3.5-4" EDC. Build it and we will buy....

I had one, the Claw model. Liked the blade, the overall feel, hated the button. I need a knife that can be opened both left and right handed.

I'd rather see Will concentrate on a smaller CUDA Maxx and drop the Quick Action folders.

I'll agree that if left as is these should be dropped in favor of other endeavors (read 4" bladed knives). However, I could live with the quick actions if the opening disc was dropped and replaced with a thumbstud. And lets make it a framelock while we are at it. :D
