CUDA Quick Action Problems

Hello, I just bought a NIB CUDA quick action folder Model 22S off of eBay. It has a few problems (or I think it does - it's my first CUDA):
(1) Blade not centered in handle when folded. No big deal???
(2) Liner lock slips all the way over to far edge of blade before locking. Several times when I cut with it, the liner lock slips off the blade, wedges itself in gap between blade & frame & is very difficult to unlock.
(3) Sliding button VERY tough to manipulate. Takes two hands to get enough force to move blade into position. Will this smooth out with use?

EBay seller has offered to take knife back, but I really like it. Do you think factory will fix the knife under warranty? I do have a sales slip with sellers company info. Thanks in advance for your help.

Randy

Randy,
The CUDA QUIK ACTION has been discountinued, but we will still happily warranty the knife. Contact customer service @ 800-344-0456 for return instructions.

Thanks for being a customer!

What a great experience!!
I posted a question yesterday on this forum, hoping for some help with a problem. The response has been awesome. Thank you all.

Thank you, Will Fennel, for your rapid & comforting reply. You can bet this first Camillus knife will not be my last.
I took your suggestion & called the 800 number for return instructions.

I spoke with Maureen at the factory. She was sincerely disappointed in the situation & quickly gave me the info & encouragement I needed. The knife left here bound for Camillus yesterday afternoon. Thank you, Maureen.

What a positive experience with an American company!!!!!! Camillus has made a new friend & lifetime customer. I'll re-post when the knife returns to let you all know the happy ending. Thanks
Randy

The people at Camillus are all good people...except for Will. :D
I think after you get your knife back, you will be THRILLED with it, the CUDA line is way cool.

Well, I said I'd post the results of my problems with the CUDA Quick Action, so here goes:
1. Repair of the knife at Camillus factory took 13 weeks in house.
2. While at factory, my 5 emails & 2 phone calls were ignored.
3. Factory fixed 2 of 3 problems (blade still not centered).
4. Knife which came back is either used knife or my knife beat-up.
5. Knife I got back has new problem (liners not tight to scales).
Conclusion, Camillus factory repair service is absolutely AWFUL. Sorry to report this, I had hoped for much better with the encouragement from Will Fennel. Hope this helps someone else. Randy
