Cuda Talonite - Talonite Steel ?

Hey Guys,

Was just wondering if anyone has a Cuda Talonite or knows anything about the "talonite" steel quality. Does it have a comprable steel, is it a semi-stainless, stainless or carbon steel, hows edge retention, is it nice and sharp and can the edge be restored if it gets dull, easy of sharpening and such ?

Just asking because I am thinking of getting a Cuda Mini Talonite for a neck knife and any information you can give me would be much appreciated.

Talonite is a cobalt-chromium alloy with <3% iron. It is Stellite that has gone through HIP and then aged for improved abrasion resistance. It is considerably more corrosion resistant than stainless steel.
