Besides the satin finish on the 3, and a bead blast finish on the 4S. Why two different model numbers.

The CUDA 4S was a serrated hawkbill.
We refered to it as the "CUDA Claw".
Probobly the rarest varient.

Here is a drawing I did for the sales department showing all the CUDA Quick Action patterns.

It's definitely the rarest, took me 2 years to find one. I just put mine up in the Exchange due to some unforeseen bills. :(

I have a CUDA 2 that I'd like to repair but can't get the screws out...
Any idea ?
Nice pics by the way !

Why can you not get the screws out? Too tight or wrong drive?
The very first CUDAs were built with screws with Bristol Spline drives.

They are far too tights.
And now, the heads are messed-up...
So, I tried then to glue my screw driver head with cyanolit super glue, but it didn't work.
It won't stick and I'm still unable to remove my screws...
Thanks very much for your answer !!!
 :)

I also have this problem. Too tight axial screws. The tip of my screwdriver stayed in the #CUD21S knife.

Looking for info on this CUDA. I think the handles are replacements and pretty nicely done.
Any info?
Thanks
larry

Phil,
Thanks for taking a look. The bolster looks to be bead blasted material same as liner. I dont have the knife in hand but was asked to check on it. here are a few more picts.
I'll see if I can get the owner to pop into BF.
Hope all is well
Larry

I found you , thanks again for having a look at my knife . I looked at it a bit more and think you are correct about it being a custom job and the reason I say that is under the bone scales there are lanyard holes that where covered up or at least the bone was never drilled for the holes. thanks again .
