i'm looking for some pics and ideas on anyone who has made or knows who makes the best dangler Scandinavian style sheath for some cultellus's. i'm not interested in a sheath that weighs more than the knife itself. i want one like a high quality fillet knife would come with, good leather and hardware.

I was impressed with the one that came with the Koster Bushcraft knife. I can't remember what outfit made it--maybe soemone else can chime in. Heck--might even fit in the same sheath.
 
if possible please post pics, maybe others would be interested in getting the same scabbard made, that is if their not pussy's and intend on using their knife.

Is this before or after you shoot the fish? :confused: I like to slice/ stab my fish BEFORE I shoot them. Just to let 'em know that I mean business. I have a sheath on order with Chuddy Bear- but not a fillet style- a Randall pouch instead. I bet he could whip you up something, though. And you probably wouldn't have to wait a coon's age for it, either.
 
Yeah, dangler sheaths are the bomb for non-tactical knives! :thumbup: It would be cool if it came with a inner liner, perhaps of kydex, or just any decent plastic. Scandi knives often have a hard liner in the sheath, to make sure the blade doesn't ever poke through the leather and stab people.

Dangler? I was thinking more of a weak side carry deep pouch sheath canted for cross draw. :D Put one of those dandy paracord jobs Eric's daughter makes and you are good to go.

You don't actually shoot your own fish (I know I sure wouldn't want a big hole in my fish)

yes, leather with the plastic type liner, stiching runs up the inside of the sheath.
