Just opened this up tonight on the west coast...
Each time I get a Busse - it becomes the new favorite (until i reach over and pick up one of my other ones). Pics aren't great but wanted to show it off. :thumbup:

mine came today too!!!


is yours a v grind or convex? one of mine is clearly a v, the other looks very much like a convex.

Got 2 on the way....would be nice if they were convex. Not many convex's straight from the shop.

the one on the rt sure looks like a v to me, especially at the tip.

the left is definitely convex. i dropped the point a bit because it came slightly rounded and i dont feel like sending it back.

I think i see what you mean but i probably need to inspect them up close. Go ahead and send them to me with a self addressed envelope so i can mail you back some pictures of me getting them ;)

so does this mean final sharpening is all done by hand there in the Busse shop?
 
I've got a rock so far. Hopefully mine will arrive in 2weeks :D
 
I got my two today and they are pretty cool! I looked at both and I'm not sure if they are convex of flat with a "V", somewhere inbetween, they are sharp though!
 
I got three today and unless I am crazy or it's the bourbon or both.

Mine seem to have a disappearing edge like my convex Treemans:D

Regardless, these are sweet and WAY nicer than the first batch;)

Yeah - I had heard that they fixed some of the mistakes they had made on the first round. Really glad I wasn't one of the people that got theirs first.:p Plus it was really nice of Amy to include the $100 credit for keeping us waiting...:D
 
Oooohbaby!!!!

Mine hit hte CC before it got hacked and closed. Charged on the 25th. Maybe today.

It's about time. I gotta chuck out a nasty useless cheap Henkel paring knife. I've been waiting WEEKS to do that.
 
My Cultellus from the second batch has what I'm calling a hybrid grind. The last 3/4" is convex. The rest is "v."
