My daughters fiance is an apprentice chef in the RMCC(Rocky Mountain Chefs of Colorado), and yearly they do an endowment dinner to raise founds for the program.

7 course dinner with all the trimmings.

When desert arrived, it came with a chocolate pyramid encrusted with truffles . Trouble was they'd been stored in a freezer and the truffles were impossible to remove.

No problem, after the first truffle was launched across the room, I said enough and got out my Culti, which made quick work of the mound. The table actually clapped when I pulled out the knife, glad it wasn't a SJ ;)

My daughter reminded me to document my work (Dad, don't forget the picture )

It was hard work, but necessary !

Of all of the uses I've pictured when I've considered buying a knife... none have ever involved truffles. ;)

Dang that's some good looking desert and the culiti is pretty sweet too.

What the heck is an old scruffy Hog ridin' fool doin' to get invited to a dinner with frozen chocolate truffles!?!?!? ;) :D

Glad to see you are putting your knife to some serious use:thumbup:
