My daughters fiance is an apprentice chef in the RMCC(Rocky Mountain Chefs of Colorado), and yearly they do an endowment dinner to raise founds for the program.
7 course dinner with all the trimmings.
When desert arrived, it came with a chocolate pyramid encrusted with truffles
. Trouble was they'd been stored in a freezer and the truffles were impossible to remove.
No problem, after the first truffle was launched across the room, I said enough and got out my Culti, which made quick work of the mound. The table actually clapped when I pulled out the knife, glad it wasn't a SJ
My daughter reminded me to document my work (Dad, don't forget the picture :thumbup
It was hard work, but necessary !
