I've been forum lurking for many months, just enjoying the pic's n reading the chats, but NOW Jerry hits with this

Anyway the NMSFNO with pumpkin handles is something I've really wanted.
I've been good, and have held out out many of the past offer's.

So my question is this, could I bring myself to make it a user? And would you
if you had it?

I really really want it, but I want it also as a user.

What say you?

I'd like to have many of the cupids, but, I have to settle for a MUK.

But man I'd love to have that DSF with the bowie grind and snakeskin scales.

You could definitely use that Custom Shop knife. I don't have a Busse Custom shop so I can't say for sure........but I think if the handle was G-10 or Micarta I could bring myself to use it. Now if it was one with fancy fossilized mammoth tooth I'd probably only pull it out of the safe and look at it every month or so. :D

Buy a beater, CG user NMSFNO off the Exchange, or post a WTB, shouldn't cost more than $400; then send it to Garth for Pumpkin G10 scales.

Use it proudly.

Yea - My LE is a user so this one would be too if I bought it

Great choice

I have a Battle Pappy, probably not too many of them out there, and I have not brought myself to use it--and probably wont unless the Zombies eclipse me and my Scizzy. Now, the MUK is a blade design I do like. I got a Scrap Muk when they were offered at the Yard a while back to see if I like the design. You guessed it, I love the design as it is a great blade for my area. So, in my YES!!!!

Awwww man...

I've had my eye on that one since the day Jerry posted pics, but have restrained myself, been really low profile, trying not to draw attention...

Now my sweet sweet #10 has its own thread  :foot:

Oh well...I was hoping the muk would distract everyone...now it's time to BRING IT!!! :D

Seriously, good luck to everyone! Whoever gets it will give it a good home I'm sure...although I'd like to see to that personally ;)

See you all Friday night :D

I've always liked the idea of having a really nice knife as a user. It's like wearing a nice suit or driving a nice car or wearing a nice pistol. It's not going to break with regular use and you can always buff it out the scratches.
