Been lurking for a bit and figured I'd wait till I had something useful to post. This is my first Busse (and my second, and my third
) and all I can say is...wow. Just wow. This is by far the most fun I've had purchasing a knife (GANZAAA!), some of the best customer service I've ever seen (Lexi answered both calls and is just a wonderful gal), the most anxiety/eagerness/anxiousness/fun I've ever had when ordering/waiting for something. The whole process was just awesome and the fact that the knives surpassed my lofty expectations is the cherry on top. This all started with my buddy and I deciding we wanted to take the plunge and purchase a Busse. Enter the Cupidganzaaaa. The buildup was incredible. I found myself sitting next to my buddy, he browsing the lesser used forums, me keeping an eye on Bladeforums, waiting for the Go. Twice I was almost duped by Hog treachery, but we prevailed. I got my email sent after the sticky and thought for sure I had scored SOMETHING! Couple days of excruciating waiting, and here comes the invoice with nothing but good news. The past 3.5 weeks has been dragging by with me waiting for my first taste of INFI. Shipping confirmation came Monday, INFI came this afternoon. Enough blabbing, here's some photos.
This thing is a beast! So glad I went with micarta and that BIG finish is unreal.
Had to try one of each handle type right? Loving the balance and feel of the B8.
The crown jewel. During the wait I went back and forth kicking myself for choosing this color combo/material every time someone posted up a photo of a Ratmandu. No regrets because this beauty is perfect. She's the perfect width, got curves in all the right places, and feels so nice in hand...
One swing and I was giggling like a school girl.
