Friday again. Got me a huge mug of coffee going. Ready to leave this sleepy place I call work and go home for some real excitement. ;)

Tonight: Trim the back outside wall on my house, maybe a coat of primer.
Tomorrow: Paint that trim. Run to Dump. Run to Home Depot. Run back home. Install some siding. Kick son's butt into making a fire so we can have some steaks and beers.
Sunday: More siding. More beers. Dreams about the unfinished knives on my bench and how much I'd like to get back into the shop. Looks like a few weeks I'll be tied to this renovation. :(

What are you fellers up to this weekend?
 
Fri eve = put final touches on two knife projects
Sat morn = hit the mall for some new duds....(early father's day present)
Sat eve = choir concert
Sun eve = visit a friend I haven't seen in 3 years - outta be fun!
 
Going to a reception tonight. Tomorrow I get to spend some time in the shop, but I'll also be cleaning the house and doing some lawn work. :grumpy: Some friends are coming into town saturday night so going to catch a cab downtown. :D Sunday morning will be spent nursing a hangover, then getting ready to have parents down for a late father's day lunch.
 
You haven't mentioned Murphy. Last friday I had a pin hole leak in some copper tubing.Went to the hardware store got tubing ,replaced bad piece. OK. Tuesday saw water on floor ??? tubing right next to the one I replaced sprung a leak !!! So at midnight , since I had some tubing ,fixed that leak. Yes Mr Murphy.
 
Good deal -- if Murphy is at your house, I should be relatively safe in the shop tomorrow. :D
 
I just spent the day doing some pm in the shop, and a bit of design work on a couple. Then I went and looked at a good used standup drill press I am buying. Benchtop's just don't cut it! The standup has a nice vice that is thrown in with the deal. Heck, this deal just got better and better! After I took my ferocious squirrel dog for a walk (she is disguised as the neighborhood sweetie) I thought I would come here and check on you rascals.Tomorrow is shop day, and hopefully some of Sunday, too.

Holy Moly, John! Are you the only guy here who gets to spend some time in the shop this weekend? YOU LUCKY GUY! :p
