I took off the clip from a May 2002 Delica (C11PSBK) and the clip from a Endura not dated for some apparent reason (C10PSBK) and noticed subtle differences in the screws and clips.
The Delica clip seemed more "metallicy" and easily scratched whereas the Enduras was more like a "matte finish" that scratched up less. I thought both were made of the same metal but are the finishes different?
Furthermore, on the Delica, the srew has a metal plate that is removeable and the other screw, the smooth one, has a inner layer of what appears to be metal too. Yet on the Endura the screw without the removable metal piece is just black on the inside. Does this mean the Delica has an extra "buffer"? Or does the Endura have it too but it's just painted black? Is there even a difference?
Just curious if anybody else noticed this. I am new to knives as a whole so forgive me if this seems like a stupid question...
