  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

When Emerson first created his Production company, QC was spotty; at best. Benchmade discontinued making the Production version of the CQC-7. Folks were horrified. But they were happy when Emerson made that model available through his Production company...... Then they were horrified, again.

QC was a large problem early on. To his credit, Emerson fixed the problem.

Hopefully, your knife is the rare lemon that squeezed through QC.

Emerson has no more or less problems than any other company. It really doesn't much matter though, as Ernie is an honorable man that runs an honorable company. If you got a lemon he'd make it right with you. EKI's service after the sale is one of the best in the industry. I don't particularly care much for the grind on his knives and I'm not a big fan of liner locks anymore but I do like a couple of the new frame locks he is making. One in particular caught my eye recently. I forget the model though. I just remember it had a small blade and big handle which is a really good idea in my book. Come to think of it it may not be available yet. The one I saw was a prototype given to a very good friend of mine by Ernie at the Shot show..
