Curious about ltd edition FBM Pic on Busse site

I noticed on the pic of the limited edition FBM on the Busse site, that there is a hip flask with the 5th special forces motto and insignia on it. I was wondering if Jerry was, at one time, a member of that group, or if the flask was just a part of a collection.

I am no expert, but it most probably was a gift to him from them in recognition of his efforts to keep service men and women equipped with some fine blades. Just my guess. Only Jerry knows and I doubt he will be too quick to tell tales out of school.
