Hello Fellow CRK enthusiasts. . .
The recent posts regarding bladeplay/lockup etc. have got my curious and ever-wondering mind what the lockup looks like on other small Sebenza 21's owners knives. I am curious to see how vast (or minute) the differences are in lockup percentages from blade to blade. So, this post is a request for you small Sebenza 21 owners to post a close-up of the lockup engagement on your small 21's so we can see the percentage of the blade tang coverage. Please state the appx. age of the blade as well. This will be fun--I will start! These are pictures of small Sebenza 21 Insingo that was born about May of 2011.

This is my sebenza 21 that has bladeplay. This is before I sent it in for fixing the lock up but its about the same now. There is still noticable vertical blade play.

This knife is approximately 4 years old

This is a neutral comment/observation on your pic, no agenda/attitude/animus - I am surprised that that knife would have any bladeplay - it appears only to be at about 75% lockup? I have had them go all the way to 100% or more before any play developed. ??? Curious, not trying to pick a fight.

I know, this knife wouldnt look like it has blade play, but it does. Does that lock look like it was abuse (judging on where the lock up is)? Not to me, but Chris sees it differently.

The lock up after sending it in is actually now about 75%-80% seems weird that its later now then when it was sent in. Usually its the reverse of that.
