Not a long hike by any means, but good to be out-and-about...!

Awesome pictures and beautiful country! Did you make that hiking stick?

You are fortunate to live in such a beautiful area. I would like to make the trip up there someday and see the volcano. Thanks for sharing the great photos.

River8,
I was there today. My cabin is about 15 minutes from the falls. Great story from two summers ago. I took my scout troop to the double hole water falls. (It was summer). When we got there, there was two teenage girls in bikinis sun bathing on the top rock bridge. The 14 year old scouts loved it. Some of the Dads did not. We have floated the Lewis many times in the summer. Big Creek falls is even more spectacular. If I can find a picture of it I will post them.

This is the same falls with higher water.
Next is Big Creek falls with high water. It is a much higher falls just a few miles from Curley creek falls.

We know a secret (over the cliff) path down to the bottom of the falls. In the summer we hike to behind these falls.

Great pics!!!! I had family that used to live near Mt. View Wa. The summer of 1979 we had a small family get together in the Gifford State state park area. We spent some time around Mt. St Helen's.

We went back about 10-11 years later. Still can't describe how much different everything looked. Not that I need to tell you.
