Here is one I finished up for my brother's father in law. I never have a knife where everything just comes together perfectly, but this is as close as I have gotten. I love the handle, I love the hamon, and the sheath is the best I have done so far.

here it is

That turned out fantastic! The sheath looks great, brother - really, an awesome looking package!

Thanks guys. I spent more than an entire day on the sheath alone. I have never tried a sheath like this before, and I will be doing one again I am sure...just not sure when. I think I will have to take a similar knife to my next knife show.

That looks great. The sheath is absolutely top drawer.
I like the forge marks on the flats too.
Did the handle pin come out lower on the left side or is it just the pics? Or maybe I am seeing things.......wouldn't be the first time:o
Darcy:)

Thanks everyone.

Darcy, it is just the pics and angle. It punched through pretty straight.

I am pretty proud of the sheath

Figgured I was probably seeing things.
You have every right to be pleased with the sheath........one of the finest looking pieces of leatherwork I've seen anywhere.
The knife is a great design as well........eye pleasing shape and beautifull hammon. Well done.
Darcy:)

That is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

I agree. I love that handle shape too. Just wow. I would fly to wherever you live, wash your car and cook your breakfast for a whole year if you'd make me one.

Dang Matt! You have hairy gorilla hands.

I mean great looking knife. I like the way you used the spacers, great hamon and killer sheath.
I think you done real good on this one.

Great Knife Matt! I really like the handle with the spacers. That sheath is top notch, and love seeing all the hidden tangs from you. This is my favorite of your work.

The handle turned out nicely. It helps that I was able to get some nice Koa from Mark. The spacer idea using some of the koa was from my friend Bob across the street. He suggested it and I liked the idea.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I believe Jerry is coming tomorrow to pick it up. I am sure he will like it... he has been telling everyone about it.
