I am so thrilled to have my sheath maker staying close! (Think he makes me look good?)
A laddered random Damascus Hunter with stabilized curly maple.
Scott's phenomenal sheath is an elephant inlay that is actually in-layed INTO the other leather. I know how he does it - and I ain't tellin'.
It also wraps all the way around the sheath, and is accompanied by the sharpest and most crips tooling I'm familiar with.
Anyway, the package is headed with me to the Janesville Badger show this weekend.

That's a great all around knife Karl. Love that curly maple with your damascus.

The sheath is killer. Nice work.

Nice knife and sheath Karl. I like how the sheath is the reverse of the knife, the light leather covering the dark blade and the dark elephant on the maple handle. Each of the pair add to each other.

I'm really digging that knife Karl, and the sheath is off the hook!

As usual excellent knife and great sheath. I think this may be you best sheath to date. Sheaths seem to be a difficult area for us knife makers.

Karl, You are making some great knives. I would like to see handles in something other than wood.
